Belgian-Style Golden Strong Ale
Fallen Angel
Originally brewed on 6-6-6 (June 6, 2006), Fallen Angel is designed and named in the tradition of Belgian golden ales – after the devil himself. We call this beer our “original sin” because it spawned our 2007 Deadly Sin beer series.
\n
\nFallen Angel is deep gold in color with tiny, conniving bubbles forming a very thick, meticulous head. Effervescent and crisp, this deliriously delicious ale tempts the palate with apple, pear and a little earthy mustiness. Its beauty and brightness creates an angel-like appearance but the devil is in its determined fortitude.
\n
\nIts introduction in 2006 gained an immediate cult following. Fallen Angel is now brewed throughout the year.
